Every fourth Thursday of November the Americans celebrate a very special holiday - Thanksgiving Day. All the people gather together for a big family dinner and give thanks for everything they have.

Reported Speech
Reported Speech is one of the most diffficult grammar phenomena in English. That's why I chose it as a topic of the next lesson. My senior students always make mistakes connected with the changes that take place while transforming sentences from direct speech into reported. And after lots of such mistakes and trying to find a way to solve them I came to a conclusion - to learn to use reported speech well we need a certain structure and a lot of exercises. Practice, practice and once more - practice!
Today I'd like to share with you my own worksheet on reported speech - it contains rules and exercises to them.

On February 14th people all over the world celebrate Valentine's Day - special day for those who are in love... They send each other presents, cards, sweets and flowers - in other words do everything to show their feelings to his/her beloved.
Of course, children adore this holiday and look forward to it every year. They like sending Valentine cards to each other, play and just have fun.
So, put your textbooks aside for one day and make your English lessons fun and interesting for your students. This can help make them more interested in learning English, learn something new and exciting and form positive attitude to studying at all.

Modal verbs form a special group of verbs in English that are used with other verbs to change their meaning in the sentence in various ways. These verbs can be very tricky and it is sometimes difficult for children to use them correctly.
